Peas! What in the world should I do with all the peas?

Let me explain…

Every once in a while O’s mom sends up some things that she buys, fruits or vegetables, or some things she makes, mini-meatballs or tortellini and various other goodies. Of course all are very welcome and we appreciate her generosity. (I especially like it when she sends up stuffed eggplant - yummm!)

But, this last time she gave us a 2.5 kilo bag of frozen peas. Now, for those who don’t know the conversion, a 2.5 kilo bag equals 5 1/2 pounds of peas. I think you’ll agree, that that’s a LOT of peas.

Now, I like peas, especially fresh peas, but I’m trying to figure out how to use all these frozen ones. Especially since she told me the other day that she has more in her freezer.

So, I’ve been using them in various recipes, but I’m now at a loss as to what else I can do with them - we can’t (or don’t want to) eat the same things over and over again.

Any pea recipes are welcome…..
